The inability of governments everywhere to modify, or reduce rules, regulations and laws causes endless stupidity. Every year that goes by, more laws are passed. Do any get repealed? Almost never.

My personal favorite stupid hunting law is the use of “shotguns” for deer hunting. A rifle can hold 5 shots, but a shotgun only 3. Why? And a rifled barreled, scoped “shotgun” shooting a sabot slug is OK in some more developed areas, because it’s “safer” than a rifle? Really? Care to test that?
